United Kingdom has dissected nursing into adult nursing, paediatric nursing, midwifery and mental health nursing. Nurses graduate with a degree only in any of those fields. It has the advantage of helping nurses concentrate in their areas of expertise. It has the drawback of limiting what a nurse can do or not do.
